Jorge M. Vigil has represented a significant number of Florida based developers in land acquisition and disposition, as well as various national investors in multi-family residential housing.
His representation covers several of South Florida’s leading financial institutions in connection with domestic and international banking transactions, including real estate secured finance, working capital lines of credit, and international trade finance transactions.
COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS

We assist our clients with every major aspect of real estate purchase, sale, development, use, management, and permitting and regulatory approvals.
Our firm has extensive experience in analyzing and obtaining title insurance coverage for our clients.

Our firm assists a broad spectrum of companies, small businesses and individuals in meeting their challenges. We have helped businesses throughout their “life cycle”, in the formation of partnerships and joint ventures between economic actors.
The firm is very experienced in the negotiation, documentation, implementation and reorganization of important joint ventures at home and abroad.
We have expertise with the formation and ongoing representation of large real estate development partnerships, including handling all aspects of the partnership formation and structure and private placements of securities in real estate development projects.
REAL ESTATE SECURED FINANCE
The firm represents numerous community banks in connection with commercial real estate secured finance. The firm handles construction lending, including construction loans to develop tract housing, multi-family residential construction, office construction, and construction of hospitality properties, including hotel finance; commercial income producing property finance, including office buildings, shopping centers, and multi-family properties; and asset based lending, including finance of receivables, inventory, and other company assets. In the past five years, the firm has handled sizable commercial real estate finance transactions secured by multi-family residential portfolios, hotel lending and finance, hotel construction finance, and finance of a large South Florida shopping center property.
LOAN SALES; WORK-OUTS AND MODIFICATIONS
During the years following the financial crisis of 2008-2009, Mr. Vigil worked on a large number of loan work-outs and modifications, forbearance agreements, settlements, and bank asset dispositions, including the purchase and sale of loans and deed-in-lieu of foreclosure transactions.
FOREIGN INVESTOR REPRESENTATION
The firm has extensive experience in representing foreign investors looking to acquire real property and business assets in the South Florida area. Mr. Vigil is fluent in Spanish and conversant in Italian and represents both Spanish and Italian speaking investors in the acquisition of commercial and residential real estate properties.
